Florida History Day provides an exciting and stimulating way to explore the past and improve learning skills. Working alone or in a group, you select and conduct research about a topic that is related to National History Day’s annual theme. After gathering and analyzing primary and secondary resources, you present your findings in a performance, documentary, website, historical paper, or exhibit. You also can compete at school, county, and state levels for the opportunity to represent Florida at the National History Day contest at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Divisions of Competition
Junior: grades 6 to 8
Senior: grades 9 to 12
