County coordinators NOT using Zfairs contest management system must provide the Florida History Day office with the registration spreadsheet of county winners who will advance to the state competition by this date.

Deadline for teacher award nominations: Florida Teacher of Merit and Mayflower Outstanding Teacher (pending funding).
Deadline for student applications for FHD special prizes.
Deadline for student scholarship nominations: Mayflower Legacy Scholarship and National Maritime Historical Society Scholarship.

April 9

Online Student Contest Registration closes on this day.
ALL advancing students must have completed the online registration and all materials uploaded to the required location in the student account.
Historical Papers with process paper and annotated bibliography uploaded to student account.
Process paper and annotated bibliography for all categories except websites uploaded to student account.
Documentary videos uploaded to online storage and link entered into student account.
Student access to website entries closes on this day.

May 5-7

Florida History Day state competition.
The state contest is held at Tallahassee Community College.
The awards ceremony is held at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.
